Greetings!

Hope you’re off to a great weekend.

Enjoy this week’s curiosities below!

🐵 Mind-Blowing Monkey

In case you missed it, Elon Musk’s Nurealink released this video of a monkey playing pong using only its mind. This technology is equally exciting and terrifying.

It’s a long time until normal people will be using this technology, but the implications will be tremendous once they do.

🎶 AI Amy Winehouse

A group called “The Lost Tapes of the 27 Club” used artificial intelligence to compose and create this fake Amy Weinhouse song.

They used software to write the lyrics and perform the instrumentals. Then, they had a human being sing the vocals.

I’ve heard AI songs before, but this one could have legitimately fooled me.

Take a listen, and see if you could have told the difference.

⛰ Real-life Minecraft

Behold Mount Roraima, located on the border of Guyana, Brazil, and Venezuela.

This incredible mountain range has a shockingly geographic shape that almost reminds you of something you would see in the videogame, Minecraft.

Thanks for reading and talk to you next time.

Best,

Isaac
